Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 8

Recommended Posts

I can honestly recommend it. Phil and I have never got on with sleeping in the same bed, both had horrendous nights sleeps. Phil likes a hot room, I like a cool room, I talk in my sleep, Phil is a light sleeper etc etc  So we made the decision to have separate beds and 2 bedrooms and we've never looked back :D

We always make sure we book a twin room when we go on holiday too!

It doesn't interfere with our marriage  but ensures that we both have the sleep that we need. Also, I sleep with the dog, and he sleeps with the cat

So worth considering Koojie, better than you bashing him over the head whilst he snores :anxious:

Mum told me about that earlier on. I have already tried that. Unfortunately the spare room is next to ours. I've tried going in there - but I can still hear him - plus I can hear DS and his noise. Alternatively OH has gone in the spare room and I have got up walked along the landing, stood in the doorway and said "STOP SNORING!" Sometimes I have gone downstairs and semi dozed on the settee, but I end up with an aching back. He is at his worst in the first few hours - which is why I turn in late - I can hear the lion roaring above me and when it stops then I go up. He then will have all sorts of grunts unless I turn him on his side and wedge him there. Then he gets up early, sometimes for work when he leaves at 4.30/5-ish and that is when I get the best sleep, DS asleep then too. But he is also my hot water bottle - although hormones are dictating that I don't need one, I need to sleep in the fridge. My feet are always cold though, and that will be a good wake up call when I shove both frozen tootsies on his hot legs. Mwahahaha. The worst thing is the deep low toned ones that resonate throught the bed springs. But his mum also snores and I swear she sucks the walls in when she does.

Glad DD had a good day Chicky :D

JJ - I would have a go at you too if you were up at 11.30 on a school night

I used to have the same "debate" with my parents when I was your age, although in those days there were no TV's in the bedroom or internet, so I used to have a row for having my bedroom light on and reading.

My solution, I bought a head torch to use under the covers, so they didn't know

Evening all - bit late on parade here as I got home and succumbed to a killer headache. TBH I'd had it all day and taken nothing to help so it just suddenly EXPLODED - couple of co-codimol have got it back under control now.

I kindly let a load of sixth form BTEC business studies kids work in my classroom today with my small year 12 class as they are suposed to have lessons in the room thats not built and are already getting behind with their work as they have had no access to PC's. Like a twit I set my class work to get on with then one of the Bus studies lot rememberd me sayng last year that my degree is in Business Studies so I ended up TEACHING them for the rest of the lesson.

I've just been shopping with father and got some new school shoes + stationary, things like that ... I started school yesterday

My old shoes still fit, but just look tired, and stationary was fine from last year, but just wanted new calculator and things so it wasn't desperate - it sounds ridiculous saying I didn't have time to get them, but the last few weeks I'd just forgotten then the last few days I was away and then dispatching chickens

We have to do a powerpoint presentation and an A4 'fact file' on an entrepreneur of our choice for Business Studies to go up for Open Evenining... most people are doing Dyson, the Bodyshop lady Anita Roddick, Alan Sugar etc, but I'm always different and might do one of the Omlet 4. I was thinking James because I read story earlier and it was his mom that had problems with her wooden coop ... and the (green eglu) was born 8)

...and I'll be there in Biology with my (green eglu) with the chicks in it :D

I think doing one on Omlet is a fantastic idea Lewis.

Good luck with it :D

hi all

I'm on my lonesome tonight (apart from the boys in bed), hubby has taken my grampy to the football in town.

Koojie reading your posts makes me so grateful that hubby doesn't snore. His says I do, but I don't believe him :notalk: If I do it's only when I'm seriously tired. I don't know if we could sleep in separate beds - not enough rooms for a start - I'd really miss him.

I also think Omlet is a fantastic idea.

I also thought it was a fantastic idea for the transactional website in AS Applied ICT -BUT I'm not allowed to help the kids find one until they are REALLY stuck as ther are marks for doing it on their own!!!

Roddick and Branson must be boring the examiners to death AND they will know them reallly really well by now and as such will easily spot any less than perfect research. Going for a lesser known person will be great!

Oh yeah - Dad was a terrible snorer - turned out to be sleep Apnea (sp) which his nephew has also since been diagnosed with so I wonder if it runs in families.....

Once Dad was sleeping with a machine on he didn't snore anymore!
