You remember how you were talking about Crocs wellies at Omletina's craft weekend? Well as much as I have been going 'la-la-la I can't hear you' in my head ever since, when I saw some red ones for £15 today in Sports World or Sports Direct or whatever it is, I thought it wouldn't do any harm to try them on to see if they were fat-calf and fat winter hand-knitted socks applicable.

 

And they were.

 

And so I took them home.

 

And I blame you entirely.

 

(and they don't go with my new pointy gnome hat AT ALL, which of course makes them even better, in my view )

I have bright yellow croc wellies, they're fantastic, but why do mine make farting noises?

It's hugely mortifying when walking the dogs in the woods. My wellies chose the exact moment I'm walking past someone to fart. We can walk for miles silently but they just seem to know there is somebody near before going into a frenzy of farting!

I think they come up small. Mine are a man's 8 and a lady's 10. I'm normally an 8 and a half lady size.

How do they fare in the... shh... cankle dept? I can never find weliies that get past my chunky calves. All the ones that come up 'high' like a normal welly seem to be too slim for me. Have tried on all the funky ones in the shops, plus huntress wellies and all too slim. It's giving me a complex. I used to wear some tayberry ones in an 8 (I'm a 7) and they had room but they split after 6 months.

 

It seems i may become a croc convert.!!!

 

Should i get an 8 if I'm a 7?

Can jeans stuff in them easily? (I'd wear them walking the dog too)

 

I'm hearting after the funky red ones!
