Mine isn't very clean at the mo nor tidy but it's fairly happy & "Ooops, word censored!"ody's died as a result of being/eating here

My house has never been spotless, but since Candy came to live with us it has now gone mohair Oh the joys of a long haired dog!

I sometimes feel bad about my house until I watch these sorts of programmes or go to visit my brother and sister inlaw. Their house is pretty bad, we considered getting them a deep clean done when our nephew was born, but thought that they might take offence

 

The sun has come out here today and I can see that my kitchen is really spotty and streaky and the windows could do with some attention. Too busy with other things though and the call of the outdoors is too great.

I caught a bit of it yesterday. Some bits I just can't bear to watch like the toilet scenes

 

Must be something in the air though, or its the threat of the in-laws imminent visit but I am cleaning too. Did the kitchen yesterday and am doing the living room right now. And I have managed to get a chicken casserole on in the slow cooker for dinner tonight as well

Goodness! Just flipped through the first coupe of minutes and I could hear Lesley hyperventilating from here

 

It's the sort of house where they find someone dead, buried under a pile of newspapers.

 

Mine is far from perfect, but it's untidy rather than dirty. Too many of Rosie's friends trooping in and out and pup/cats traipsing wet footprints in!

I just watched it all . Poor woman, sounded like she really wanted to keep on top of it but couldn't .

 

I hope she managed to keep it nice in the end.

 

For those of you that didn't manage to watch the whole thing, the lab that looked at the swabs said they'd never seen anything like it and were amazed that no-one had died .

I did think Kim was more gentle with her than many. What was going on with Kim's eye's though Way too much eyeliner. I rather like her but felt her make-up slipped over into drag queen on that show

Our living room is wonderful in comparison. I had been ranting that hubby dumped the ironing on the settee. That's a breeze to sort out compared to that place.

I hope she does too! I do feel sorry for most of the people on How clean is your house as with most of them there's often a personal tragedy that has stopped them in their tracks and left them unable to cope and it just gets worse and worse

 

I used to watch it to feel better about not doing my housework as often as I should

 

Then I discovered Flylady I don't wear lace up shoes but I have stopped putting off doing things because I think I don't have enough time to do them, by using a timer I've been amazed at how little time most things take to do

I just watched it via the link, thanks for posting that. My own house is certainly not perfect but that was reminiscent of my friend's place although she is nowhere near that bad. I might just have her watch that so she can see just how good it could be if she got rid of all her junk.
