So sick and tired

Recommended Posts

I just want to say a big thank you to all you lovely, caring folks out there. Your kind words have made me cry a bit more, but in a good way.

Bluekarin, it breaks my heart to hear that your little girl has JIA and is taking methotrexate - it makes me feel like I'm making such a fuss complaining about my ailments when I'm just 41, when she has started so young. Give her a big hug from me please.

I'm having a nice time with my mum and dad oop north, and am being pampered.

Once again, thank you all, it makes such a difference knowing you are all there for me....

awww you made me cry now  You are perfectly entitled to make a fuss. Kids have such a propensity to carry on when they aren't too bad. But also, kids don't have to keep on going when they do feel ill and tired unlike us adults who feel we have to 'Keep calm and carry on' and can, in the long run, make ourselves feel worse just because we don't take a break.

Enjoy your time at your parents and see you on here back to your old self very soon :D

hope you are back home now, Omletina, and feeling a bit brighter - the lack of energy for the most basic stuff must be so frustrating for you! I know how much you love your beautiful craft-making so do hope you'll feel up to creating some lovely things again very soon.

I hate methotrexate..... a (very) necessary yeuch!

you must remember that feelings are transient, and however bad things are at a given time, the sun will come out from behind a cloud in the end. You wont always feel this way, just keep reminding yourself.

What a lovely thing to say, I think I'll put that on my wall, and it sums up totally what I wanted to say too. Hope things are picking up and a break is doing you no end of good. I have something, not sure if it's psoriasis or exzcema, had it since I was 15 and the itching can be so debilitating. I've only ever had steroid creams and gave them up as I hated using them and they only seemed to mask symptoms for a while. I find mine flares up if I eat too many carbs sometimes, bread sadly is a huge aggravator.

Lots and lots of love and hope things are much better for you now than when you first posted

Only just caught up with this too. So sorry to hear you've not been feeling too bright, my poor mum suffered horribly with psoriasis and my OH gets it during the winter months too. Hoping that the time spent with your Mum and Dad has helped you feel better, and sending hugs.
