No, I have an HTC Magic, which runs on Google, so I can use all the Google apps like the calendar, which syncs with the one I have on my computer.

It is brilliant

Apparently it should get going after 2000 hrs and hit its peak around 2200.

I stood outside in Pjs and dressing gown last night and saw 4

 

Best one looked like a double star and had a tail as it flew across the sky - tonight its cloudy so I am glad I saw last nights "shower"

We saw a couple last night - oh saw 2 and I saw my first one - it was wonderful and looking forward to seeing more - we have clear skies and frost! - loads of stars,

Thank you for posting this. I too love things like this, but never think to look for them. My dad is very much into astronomy and has passed some of his enthusiasm onto me.

 

just been out there but it's too cloudy. Theres a break in the cloud every now and then, but my eyes started going all fuzzy. I shall have another look in 15 minutes, as thats when its meant to be at its peak. But I will be sure to have a look tomorrow night as with the forcast freeze for Tuesday, I'm sure there will be a clear sky.

it was a bit too cloudy round here , I think I may have seen one though (in a cloud gap )

 

my friend at school who is an astronomy teacher said that we will have having a partial lunar eclipse on New Years eve too , so something to look forward to

We've had really clear sky here and OH DD2 and I have just sat out for about 3/4 hour and honestly saw at least 10! Some were amazing colours - best I've ever seen.

I have just spent 20 minutes outside and have lost count of the number of shooting stars I have seen. I've never seen one before.

 

The skies here are completely clear. If it wasn't so cold I would still be out there.
