Old Speckled Hen
For those of us with frost and clear skies forecast this weekend. Wrap up warm with perhaps a mug of something fortified and hot and get out into the garden. The Geminid meteor shower promises a good show of up to 140 an hour. Have a look HERE

bluekarin
Thank you for posting this. I too love things like this, but never think to look for them. My dad is very much into astronomy and has passed some of his enthusiasm onto me. just been out there but it's too cloudy. Theres a break in the cloud every now and then, but my eyes started going all fuzzy. I shall have another look in 15 minutes, as thats when its meant to be at its peak. But I will be sure to have a look tomorrow night as with the forcast freeze for Tuesday, I'm sure there will be a clear sky.

Goosey Lucy
Thank you so much for posting about this. I have just spent 20 minutes outside and have lost count of the number of shooting stars I have seen. I've never seen one before. The skies here are completely clear. If it wasn't so cold I would still be out there. Magical
