welovemarmite
Well this year I was intoduced to the world of chicken keeping and what a world that is. Work think I am completely nutty as all I talk about is chickens.... never have I been happier than when surrounded by chicken poo ..... and I am never short of an egg or a chicken cuddle. But the world of the omlet forum is great. People on my wave length (completely potty) who will never get bored (hopefully) of chicken chatter. So can I say, thank you and HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you all!!

docsquid
Another big vote of thanks to Omlet, for introducing me to the Cube at Gardener's World Live, and to the Omlet forum for helping me to take the plunge and become a chicken mummy. I cannot imagine what the garden would be like without chickens, and what it would be like to open the back door without extending a foot through first to prevent three chickens getting into the kitchen. It has been a life-changing experience. Roll on 2010 (and possibly a couple more chickens...) Happy Christmas Omleteers!
Alis girls
My husband rang Omlet a few weeks ago - he wanted to get chucks etc before Christmas but we'd all been ill and work was busy and I wanted them when I had some time to dedicate. Also with building work not a good time. hope to get mine early in New Year - he was very impressed with Omelt staff. Happy Christmas everyone - I have found support when feeling low and laughed my socks off. I wish I could meet some of you but a lot of you live too far away. Happy New Year too and thanks

Charlottechicken
A round of applause for the forum from me too! The information available on this forum and the expertise of the forum community is second to none I think work are sick of me starting every sentence with "someone on the chicken forum said....." So a hearty welcome to the new Omleteers and here's to a chickeny 2010

dancing cloud
Don't know what I'd do without all the caring, sharing and support I've found from all you lovely Omleteers out there. Many thanks to you all from me and mine A very Happy Christmas to everyone, when it arrives - and the hens and cats are very grateful that the "naughty or nice" test doesn't apply to them ! Chucky Mama
A big thank you to the forum from me too. I have got involved in all sorts of things that I would never have done. I got the courage over the year to visit Crafty FIngers & All Things Nice. As a result have got involved in the Crafty Swap despite thinking I wasn't very crafty ( I suprised myself) and have made lots of homemade preserves that have gone into hampers for Christmas gifts. I have also spent many hours laughing at my screen. Something that my family is now only just getting used to It is refreshing to see that I am not the only one with a warped sense of humour. Also thanks for helping DD with her various homework issues Happy Christmas

Charlottechicken
That's not possible Lesley I even have to explain to people who don't know I have chickens, that I actually keep them once I've opened my mouth and exclaimed "someone on the chicken forum said...." There have been many interesting tea point conversations too, especially when it slipped out that I was dispatching my own meat

Charlottechicken
It inevitably results in the same response... 'a chicken forum. ?' I know Someone once spied my Battery Hen Welfare Trust bag, which I use to carry my lunch to work in, and said "is that a real organisation?"
