Well, the omlet power worked, but in a different way.

 

I decided I don't need to go for anything I get offered, and that a four hour daily commute for peanuts and low accomplishment satisfaction (after some digging about the company) would maybe not be the best route, so after a big rethink, I'm going to only be applying for part time work so I can do voluntary charity work (which I currently do) for the rest of the week.

 

We shall see what unfolds...
