Job interview

Good luck. My advice would be to explain why you want the job honestly so they don't think you are just applying for jobs until something better turns up. I have in a previous life been involved in recruitment and the honest candidates always impressed and usually were successful given a chance.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks Kerryegg. I used to have a very responsible job, for all the grief it gave me. Now I want better work/life balance. I'm in the enviable position of only needed fixed contract/part-time work, want to do that somewhere where it has some sort of moral value, and want to do voluntary work round that, so as Kevin Spacey said in American Beauty: 'I'm looking for the least possible amount of responsibility.' Sort of.

I could do this job with my hands tied. The question is, will they let me, or will they think I'm a freak who'll get bored of it/be going for the higher-up jobs, threatening them and all their competencies? :)
