alij
Hi Em Yes really close about 5 mins from St Neots. It's not so much the buying of the Jersey Giant, blue splash is my fave at the mo, but the fact I've mentioned bigger housing etc.... We're already looking to buy a smallholding somewhere and it only started as a couple of chooks for the eggs.
docsquid
They are all lovely - Margot is quite something with her floppy comb.

tom123
Lovely! Gloria is a Silver Laced Wyandotte, Joyce looks to me like a Goldtop (silkie x sussex) and Tallulah is a lovely red Araucana
alij
Thanks Tom I've got some Silke cross Orpingtons in my inccy at the moment that my friend gave me. Not sure how successful they'll be. Em..good idea about the land I'd love some boys too. Would have loved to keep my Orpie boys but alas... Victoria, now Victor Emily, now Ernest They've gone to be part of Jay Spencer's breeding and show programme...hopefully some little choccy orps in the spring

Henhathnofury
They are really beautiful; I love their inquisitive faces. Some of us on this forum will have to get together for an addicted to the idea of getting a Jersey Giant meeting. Non chicken people are most odd....how can they not see the beauty? We need to go forth and spread the word!
Plum
They're all fabulous. Love them
Space Chick
They are all stunning, but your naked neck is particularly striking, and I think rather glamorous looking, whith that beautiful floppy comb and dark black head feathers constrasting with that fabulously red naked neck. Magnificient

Griffin
I'm a Bianca fan Does she talk to herself? My Faverolle gives a running commentary every single day She has a very quiet voice and she mumbles along to herself all the time, it's very sweet really. alij
Hi Griffin Yes she does...literally all day long, but she is in her complete little world. She bumbles along chatting to herself and then suddenly sprints down the garden towards absolutely nothing. I must admit she holds a real place in my heart, but boy is she stupid
Valkyrie
Ahhhh lovely piccies. I rather fancy Bianca - something about dippiness - and she's a pretty girl too. Like the orpie boys too - striking feathers. Did someone mention Jersey Giant?
