Very cold wind (didn't sleep too well because I was cold - I'm told it was because I left the window open all day - oops, well at least the air was fresh ). Blackrocksrock Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 After a really really frosty start after the melting snow yesterday we had skating rink roads and I went over outside the front entrance this morning - wonderful - of course had to get up quick so noone saw me!! - it was a lovely sunny day and I still have to dig my car out as i still have snow behind it piled up before I can get out tomorrow! eek! As I tucked the girls up in bed there were a few black clouds building and I can see we have had rain - all over the cars shining in the lamplight. I think it's warmer than the weekend and we have had much nicer clouds scudding across the beautiful blue sky with lots of sun since lunchtime. Blackrocksrock Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Very windy and warmer here but melting the snow so fast we had flooding and had to have the council out to divert water and hubby was outside with shovel breaking up the road edges to take the water away from us - its running down the road like a river in spate and is awful at the moment and has been doing so all day - surely there cannot be much left now! Today is beautiful, although the wind could drop a bit more for my liking - but shouldn't complain as they've said rain tomorrow.
