Day 2 of constant rain. Boo hoo!

Well, no rain yet despite the promises. It's warm and I wanted to put the washing out on the line at lunchtime, but didn't dare in case it got wet. 16deg at lunchtime!

Rain this morning but it turned into a very nice day. Raining again now though. Looked at the forecast and Tuesday it seems we are to get snow! Not again. Plus thunderstorm probablility for that night is something like 58%.

NOooooooo, not more snow

 

Very mild this morning, 10deg first thing and probably about 12deg now. Overcast but bright amd still.

 

Yesterday at about 5pm, it clouded over and got very black - I was expecting thunder, but none happened, not even torrential rain.

Another sunny mild start which is spoiling itself.

 

It was so mild yesterday that even I put on a lightweight raincoat instead od my big winter coat

 

I too have seen the potential forecast for snow especially in the north next week.

Dry, bright & mild at the moment but the weatherman says rain for later

It was a lovely day up until 1 ish,when out of the blue it heaved down for a good half hour.

 

Now - 5.20pm, we are in the middle of a big old electrical storm - hail,rain,forked & sheet lightning & thunder loud enough to rattle the windows

 

Not the greatest weather for going to Pizza Express,but that is what we are about to do,for Devons' birthday

It was nice this morning-ish and by the time we got out of the shops there were floods everywhere. Then it seemed to stop for a while and got a little brighter. Off Erin and I went to Farnham. We were headed back to the car when rummmmmbbblllleeee! Made it back to the car before the rain. On the way home we saw lightening and I heard the thunder even through the deluge - aquaplaned on the hill even though I was slow - we could hardly see. Not impressed and I said I don't want to go storm chasing in this country!

We had a lovely start to the day - gorgeous sunshine - then evil this afternoon, heavy rain and thunder.

 

I've also just seen the weather forecast on Metcheck for next Tuesday Koojie - heavy snow by 3pm It looks cold for the whole 2 weeks school holiday

Maybe I won't do the parsnips until the snow's gone. There's still time for more snow - we had it on my birthday before. Now which bright spark said we were going to have a heatwave this summer - the last couple of weeks in August? I gather the Met Office are saying "it's not our forecast" Hmmm a summer consisting of 2 weeks - how unusual - seeing as we had that last year.

Mum said she saw some brimstone butterflies yesterday - and I usually say summer's really coming then but I bet they're back in hiding now.

We never did get the storm last night - torrential rain while I was walking the hooond, but no thunder

 

Phil got it in Radnage, bucks though - the power went out.

Constant rain yesterday afternoon but a brighter start this morning.

Didn't last long though... being treated to heavy showers now

We had heavy rain late afternoon and evening, but no thunder. Today again dawned bright and again it is now dull and raining. I want to plant a lot of seeds at the allotment tomorrow, but it looks like it is going to be too wet.

They forecast a lovely day all over the UK tomorrow but then terrible conditions from Sunday, so make tomorrow eglu cleaning day!

It's bright & mild again this morning but the clouds are gathering...

Last night the weatherperson said we could expect snow on Tuesday.....which is dead funny (not), as Him Indoors is going to an event which was cancelled in January.....because of snow.

Damp,grey and miserable here Typical as the children are now off school for 2 weeks and I was hoping to get them outside every day.
