Chicktastic
I ordered an Eglu Go at the weekend and the kids were dead excited!!! Decided to get some more chickens as when I split up with my husband, he kept the ones we reared from eggs and I really missed them!!! When I told the kids I had ordered some, they said that "Dad has got rid of ours cos he can't be bothered" They went to their dads last night and they excitedly told him they qwere getting some more to which he replied "Your mum is stupid" and "She will get complaints" Now the kids are not excited at all cos they think I'm gonna get in to trouble!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHH Now I know why I divorced him!!!!!
Alis girls
Well done for getting out - the kids will soon forget when the new chucks arrive. Good luck
Valkyrie
Sounds a bit spiteful - glad you are free. Good luck with the new life and new chickies. And raspberries to your ex.

Space Chick
Conclusive proof that he's your ex for a reason
C&T
He's only jealous 'cos the children are excited about the chickens arriving, which is down to you, when he knows he got rid of the others. Had he kept your old chooks, the children (maybe) wouldn't have been so excited and pleased at something you are doing for them. Point scoring - but I think that you come out on top! Plum
How frustrating not just letting you have the original. You must be spitting feathers. Sorry for kids though, and spoiling your excitement
Seagazer
Oh thats not nice is it. Good for you for getting some new girls though. You must post some photos when you get them.

chickenanne
How pathetic. Sounds like, as someone mentioned already, point-scoring. It's so wrong to use kids for this there's nowhere to start with the comments about it!
Willow
ARGHHHHHHHHHHH Now I know why I divorced him!!!!! yep All the more reason for you to have chickens then if he got rid of the others ! You could remind the kids you didn't have any problems before so why would you now. Shame he said that but it was probably more to justify to the kids why he let the others go than anything else.
