We have fingers crossed for a mix of egg colours from our new girls. Went out for 2 new chooks yesterday (according to OH) and came home with four (I'm blaming you lot for my uncharacteristic alternative plan!)

 

The older girls - needless to say - are somewhat miffed

 

and appear to be organising a campaign

 

Heidi (hope for darker brown/speckled eggs) - best at ducking out of photos

Clara (brown/pinky blush eggs) also a bit of a blouse along with Skye

 

Snowy (white eggs) who scooted straight into the waiting cube finally emerges

 

Skye (fingers and toes crossed for blue eggs ) is a bit of a wuss - had to be encouraged/helped up the ladder

lol oooh u got the same as meeee!!!! a speckled, a bluebelle, a white one, and a blue egger!!!! ( i got 2 blue eggers) plus the 5 browns....

 

you can tell if a blue egger but the colour of its ears apparently,,,, both my blue eggers have blue ears, the rest have red, Winnie has white so im hoping she a white egger but not in lay yet

Bunnyish - Don't think I'd quite claim blue for Skye's ears but so far off-white of some sort. However Snowy has pale pearlescent blue!
