I had pink striped brushed nylon sheets for most of my teenage years, and nylon nighties. I still shudder to remember the crackling. Give me a smooth freshly laundered cotton sheet anyday. One of us would hold up the covers 'a la tent stylee' and we would compete to see who could create the most sparks - before collapsing in fits of giggles and being told to go to sleep.
