Gardeners World magazine also have regular competitions in each magazine - but you don't have to buy the magazine to enter, or even send a postal entry!! Had to go and buy something to put them in and found a nice wrought iron window box thing lined with coir. Not the cheapest option but it's much bigger than a hanging basket. OH has fitted it outside my kitchen window - out of reach of chickens!! Just need to fill it up and get planting now. I've got cherry toms, bell peppers and curly parsley. Can't wait!
