MimiMeow
Pretty much only way I can explain it is it's Murphy's Law. For some reason when we have company one of my cats will inevitably go in the litter tray and it'd be the smelliest deposit you'll have ever smelt
Seagazer
Or mine would decide its the perfect time to bring in a mouse I've never seen Dave try it though after being neutered, very odd.
Olly
This thread made me laugh! My cat usually chooses the moment when visitors are there to throw up noisily in front of them ... don't tell me it's coincidence. It's like the way that cats always know the person in the room who is a cat-hater, and they make a beeline for them and start rubbing up against them! Alis girls
Our RABBIT used to do this to his sister. I told the boys they were playing leapfrog
Seagazer
Our RABBIT used to do this to his sister. I told the boys they were playing leapfrog Our rabbit AJ did this to Dave our cat - the vet couldn't believe it when we took him in to be done - he was a house rabbit at the time. Poor Dave, I'm not sure he's ever got over the shock.

Raina
Our Female Border Terrier mounts our Male Bedlington Terrier,Apparently it's something to do with dominance!(She normally goes the wrong way though and is humping his head lol, she ALWAYS does it when we get visitors too, they just think it's funny) My late cat also mounted my neighbours female cat 3 months after he had been neutered. Interesting. My male cat is the top cat and the little moggie goes round following him adoringly, wonder if she stepped out of line and needed to be put back in her place. My Auntie had a Sheltie/golden retriever cross who did this despite being spayed. She would carefully arrange sofa cushions within reach, hump them furiously for about 30 seconds, then heave a huge sigh and go off with a resigned expression. It always happened when she had visitors. We thought it was hysterical... luckily her priest did too.
