Falkor
Very pretty! Is she Molly or Midge (looking at your signature)? Is she a Norweigan Forest Cat? This is Molly...as far as we know she is just a moggy, her mum was a stray taken in by the landlady of our local and proceeded to have kittens on the end of her spare bed Molly was my birthday present from OH a few years ago (maybe 5?) who chose her out of the three kittens as she was the one that liked Lager Edited April 14, 2010 by Guest
Couperwife
no - at least I dont think she is a norwegian forest cat - who knows actually, Piperkit is tiny omletina came up last week and she was amazed that I can (and do) pick up Piperkit with one hand and walk around with her Does Molly have a huge fluffy tail? (bottle brush sort of design ) pipers could be used as a feather duster cathy x
Falkor
Molly's tail is almost as wide as she is! Def bottle brush stylee Can`t pick her up with one hand though...she sounds like she is a bit bigger that Piperkit. I am now worried in case Molly reads this and cottons onto the fact that it is possible she could be more than a moggy......she already has ideas above her station
franklyrabbit
I think that Piperkit and Molly MAY have some NF Cat in them. I've added pics of Oshie for comparison. We took him on as a tiny kitten as a moggy and then a neighbour who is a vet and a judge at cat shows, said how lovely our NF cat was. To be honest, we'd never heard of one and didn't believe her. When she'd left, we looked them up on the internet - and lo and behold - there was an Oshie staring back at us. Features include: normal cats stop growing at around 9 months, NF cats stop at around 5 years. The photo of me holding him below was taken about 2 years ago when he was 3. They are very much like dogs in that they emotionally attach themselves to one person (me in this case) - he even sleeps at my feet under my desk while I'm working. They are extremely vocal too. Do you think that you might have one (or a cross)? By the way, can't wait to see Piperkit's pic (or should I say, Molly's sister?).

Daphne
All of them are absolutely gorgeous - thanks for posting everyone I shall be getting one (OH's idea) or two (my idea) cats in the next few months, they will be rescue mogs but I'm going to read up on NFCs - they sound quite like Birmans which are my favourite breed - just in case one should happen into my lap I have a friend who is an artist and he wanted to paint our late cat (when he was still a current cat I hasten to add) - purely because of his tail. I love big tails!
