Helly Welly
Welcome Sparklepants! We are all mad but now you too will be as bad as us Try persuading OH that chickens are a good idea first, then convince him that the eglu is the only practical choice, it worked for me
Carolinep
Welcome Sparklepants.. We can all help convince your OH that Hens are fab, by the time we've all finished he'll be "Ok then what colour Eglu"

chelsea
Sparklepants, tell him you'll do all the cleaning out, looking after the chickens etc, tell him he wont have to lift a finger. Also mention you will spoil him rotten with egg recipes galore from the freshest yellowest eggs you have ever seen add - the eglu makes sense, its so practical as its not wood and will last for years, one blast with the hosepipe and its lovely and clean OH will give in eventually, believe me.....just keep on and on and they DO give in. My hubby wouldnt be without the chickens now, and he cleans them out more than me
