AnnieP
I sat in a hot and stuffy classroom with 32 eleven year olds. Then I endured a 2 and a 1/2 hour staff meeting on raising standards. Now I'm off to Pilates.... leaving OH (when he gets in) to eat his birthday cake on his own. Roll on the summer holidays

Chicken Licken
I'm with you Annie P- very restless and unco-operative teenagers all day followed by a meeting that was mostly about attendance issues and GCSE options - came home having lost the will to live!! Cheered up by my chickens rootling in their pen and rosie having just a little chase of them - they take it all in their stride and regularly mistake her nose for a grape - poor old girl!! Cate in NZ
I'm definitely a fair weather girl, I really get miserable in the winter, I need that sunshine fix, and the feeling of warm sun on my back. I'm loving the longer days now............. and it's only March, it's just going to keep getting better and better (with maybe the odd hiccup ) for the next few months I love Spring............. nearly as much as I love Summer
Egluntyne
Beautiful day here. Spent most of it in the garden, tidying and pottering. Am exhausted....all that fresh air has worn me out.
Mel (& Paul)
I havent seen daylight for the last 3 days being in Reading and testing IT - but I cant WAIT to get back to beautiful Dorset later today and see the sun! At home we get up at 5.15 and Paul goes off to work at 5.45 at which time I walk the dogs - the birds are just waking up and their dawn chorus is deafening - but WONDERFUL! and I normally get home around 6.30pm and I cant wait until the girls are still up! Popcorn
What a lovely thread about sunshine and happiness! I've got a definate spring in my step now I wake up at 6am and I can see the beginings of daylight and hear the birds. We've been garden DIY-ing over the weekend, and it's so exhilarating doing hard graft, then sitting back with a glass of wine to admire your achievements. (Nearly ready for those slabs now Clare )

Popcorn
Oh I totally agree Helen. I didn't do much other than chuck some vege's and chicken in the oven to roast, and a baked potato.

I was also thinking this morning HOW LOUD THE BIRDS WERE I get up at 5.50am (yes - 5.50, not 5.45 or 6am it has to be 5.50 )to walk the dog every morning and it was beautiful this morning, a nip in the air, really light too.....but very noisy crows and birds.
