When I see someone wearing them I get an image of Max Wall in them. I tried to do a link for those of you who are way too young to know what I mean, but it looks remarkably like he's wearing leggings.

If you google Max Wall images, you'll see what I mean.

Before everybody gets cross with me, I thought I'd better quickly explain that I don't mean that the ladies wearing them look like Max Wall, but that the leggings in themselves remind me of him. Hope I was quick enough there!

Lol i know what you mean, i'm not keen on black ones with short tops, not flattering!! i love jeggings though, thick ones that look like jeans but are much more comfy

I have had some dodgey leggings in my time and as a lady with long but "good legs" as my gran would say - I would say with my big thighs I resembled a chicken complete with drumsticks I had some stripey ones, some herbacous border ones (flowery) and the black ones. Havent tried jeggings. I now favour cropped trousers and bootleg to balance my hefty thighs. Oh the jjoys of being a woman

Another problem with some leggings is the wearers often don't realise that they go extremely see through where they stretch over the buttock area! OH doesn't think this is problem, well, not until I gently remind him

It was the style where you wear leggings and a top and nothing else that confused me. I really don't want to see people's bums like that!

I had a favourite pair of leggings as a teen which has Snoopy cartoons printed on....often worn with a big baggy white tent as was the fashion

I am a leggings wearer but i wear shorts over the top or a skirt so no one sees my booty. Actually, i live in leggings, i'm so glad they're still around.
