Unsecure chicken perches

Hi, just thought i'd share This is my new WIR built by my husband over the last couple of weekends. He is not the best D.I.Y.'er but he has a go and I'm really pleased with the finished result. Still got to put the garden back together again now the girls are safely locked away and cannot destroy it anymore so fed up with it looking like Beirut

 

This was their temporary site on the patio over the boggy soggy winter

Did your OH make the freestanding perch too?

 

Yes it started off as one long piece with a point on the end, chopped the point off and cut the remainder into 5 pieces and it only took a couple of minutes

Quick Update - the ladder does look lovely unfortunately the girls haven't mastered it yet on night 2 Two of them I had to pick up and put in the eglu and Holly the Gingernut Ranger jumped up onto the table and side stepped into the eglu door
