Martin B
I know some of you already watch Breakfast in the morning on BBC1. Today they did a part on keeping pigs in the back garden. Thought I'd post it on here in case anybody is interested. http://search.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?tab=all&go=homepage&scope=all&q=pigs+ It's on the right hand side of the screen. First one. Martin

Egluntyne
Pig arks aren't as expensive as you might expect. Damn! http://www.pig-arcs.co.uk/standard-pig-arc.html Im' sure the Omlet gang could make their own version!
Martin B
I would love a piglu. All you would need to do is enlarege the current mk2. No roosting bars, no door, no nest box, wooden floor. It would easily be suitable for pigs! I don't think they'd do a run with it!

chelsea
Thanks martin! I adore pigs and have always wanted some. IF we get the cottage then we plan to get 2 pot bellied pigs and put in the orchard. Hubby knows a local farmer whose just had a litter and they are gorgeous, £120 each. Pigs are great and very intelligent, I might even be convinced to let them in the house
Martin B
Would they be meat pigs? £120 is a lot for a pig looking at figures I've seen elsewhere!
