chelsea
Well, in my opinion winning the FA cup IS important, its a part of british footballing tradition. You would be SO disappointed if Villa won it then? Im not disappointed with our season, close runners up, semi finals of the champions league and a cup double.....with our injuries not bad at all, im happy and thats all that counts ! Martin B
You're not the only team that has had injuries!
chelsea
I know, but dispite serious injuries to our 2 1st choice keepers in one match we have come through a difficult season and kept close to man utd right till the very end. Its nice to have a break now though through the summer....phew!
Snowy
I'm pleased for you Chelsea! Has your voice recovered yet??
chelsea
nope!....very sore. Hubby has flaked out on the sofa. An emotional exhausting day. I thought if we were going to lose - I'd rather lose in the match ....I would have not watched penalties. our house went absolutely BESERK when Drogba scored. We were the last team to win it at the old wembley and the 1st at the new one.....so IM VERY HAPPY
SarahJo
Well the blue's won the cup .. well done, Chelsea. However, this was totally insignificant ( Man U's Loss that is) to what happened last night. Ben won a big trophy for "Managers Player of the Year" under 7's team. . And then Joe got signed for the under 8's, for next season, he's only 6yrs old in August . So although Utd did not win the FA cup ... in our house we did one better .... by miles .

Egluntyne
Well done Sarahjo's boys! At one time we had a shelf full of football trophy's. Gorgeous aren't they!
Nicola H
Well done Ben and Joe............................. Hope you have the trophy on show Sarah........
SarahJo
On SHOW - Ben won't put it down, carries it everywhere, even slept with it last night . I don't mind though as this is his 1st proper trophy, for the 1st team he's ever played in a league with. Eglutine .... I hope we too will have a shelf full, as Ben and Joe swell with pride at their achievements, almost as much as I do . When it does get put down .. the trophy can live on the mantel above the fire, until the novelty wears off, and everyone possible has seen it. Guest
Another Chelsea fan who thinks winning the F.A Cup is actually important. The cup is an excuse to cover up a dissapointing season. And martin wins the Sour Grapes award 2007!!!! here's your prize!!! Congratulations Chelsea - 2 Cups - not so much to complain about!! That's two more than Aston Villa, "Ooops, word censored!"nal, Bolton and Wolves put together this season!! Phil (PS - sorry we took those points off you in the league..... I hope they weren't crucial ones?? )

gooner.girl
He has way to much time on his hands Mondays Chelsea... Its called his day off but i thought that was every day anyway... He only works for an hour or 2 on a Sunday as well! Glad Chelsea won the cup - well not glad, but better them then Man.U - would not have been good for them to do the double. And Ashley Cole didn't start? Was that cos he's injured or cos he's useless? I didn't quite figure it out...
chelsea
Helen......he's injured....having surgery actually!! You are SO like my gooner manager....1st thing this morning we were discussing Cashley....he hates him like you do. He did come on in the 2nd half and collected a FA cup medal Gooner bosses response "well at least we didnt buy the cup" !! I just laugh and walk away now cos he's like a broken record
gooner.girl
Gooner bosses response "well at least we didnt buy the cup" !! I just laugh and walk away now cos he's like a broken record It is the only response we have Chelsea, to our pathetically poor season Gotta give us something! (Yet still, despite that, we can be thankful we're not as bad as Villa or Bolton That really would be tragic... )
