freddie
We've always had swallows and swifts and house martins nesting under the eves and in the roof space, no problem. Two nights ago, DD was bitten by something, so we blamed the cats(doesn't everyone!!) Last night I went to close her blinds and curtains and there were literally thousands of these little things crawling in the window, and around her bedroom/bed/ soft toys /walls etc We spent half the night stripping out her room, an on the fifth load of laundry, all the bedding has to go, the room is now a sealed box(masking tape) and the chicken mite spray is being used !!Plus some good strong flwea spray, just as a back up. She's camping in with me, and Dh is on the floor in Ds room, but I found some in there this am!! Tell me again how good rural living is, I seem to be forgetting!!!!!!!!! Lewis
Oh ohhh I think you can get household sprays that you do and have to leave the room sealed for an hour or so - might be worth a look.
The Dogmother
Do you mean the fogger type ones Lewis? I've heard that they are good. Most pest control companies will spray a house/room. A house down our road had to be done after new owners moved in after an old 'cat lady' died.
Egluntyne
I have heard excellent reports about this product. **RIP Fleas**. Might do the trick for you.
The Dogmother
What ever you decide to use, remember to do 2 treatments a week apart to zap any eggs that still hatch.
cordelia
My friend had a flea problem when she moved into her "new" house, it had been empty for a while, although they hadnt spotted the problem on viewing... and used a flea fogger?? I think thats its name, from Tesco...it did the trick, I think she used them in all the rooms.. it was some kind of smoke thing, you had to leave for a number of hours.. leave the house I mean.. I would imagine it would kill everything bug wise... anyway it did the trick for her, best of luck
