Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi all, my pink egg port has got a bit of a mark on it, now ive used fairy liquid and it has faded a bit, i dont no if anyone has any natural ideas, but im now thinking about dye?

has anyone dyed their eglu?

is there anything natural e.g lemon juice etc to get it off

It is like a white mark however when its wet you can see it, which makes me think it can be removed!

I wouldn't give it a second thought myself, with it being such a bargain.

 

The hens will be unlikely to notice.

I have a feeling you can get stick on flowers for the eglu now which would cover it. Phone Omlet - or make your own from sticky backed plastic - very Blue Peterish!

I find that car bumper restorer spray cleans eglus up beautifully and also makes scratches a lot less noticeable.

Well, i was thinking about buying spray number 220587386691 from ebay, but ive seen those stickers and i really love the idea of them and it will decorate the eggport and its offical omlet and if i ever sell it on (if omlet bring something new out ) they wont look out of place or anything! also they do come off aswell, hmmm, im really liking that idea, im gunna buy some now as paint matching is so hard! i dont want to ruin it even more! it was a bargain but when something bugs me it bugs lol thanks Patricia W you clever omleteer!!!

Hi all, just wanted to update, have got the stickers, put them on and it looks fantastic! they are super super quality and well worth the £6.45 price tag! thankyou everyone for an inexpensive way to put my mind at ease! lol xxx p.s the hens are in it now, all 7 of them squashed in! lol

thanks, well to say i paid 220 for it, i think its in good nick, was only home to 3 bantams b4 i got it, they got eaten by a fox! Blossom is into everything so shes on the pics! the other 6 dont care about the spaceship that has landed! lol i love it, does anyone think i need more stickers on it? xx
