Grand Designs starts tomorrow night at 9pm (I think) and then next Monday Spooks is back. I shall reserve judgement on whether Spooks is still classed as 'good telly' as its been a bit hit and miss in recent series. I really am hoping there will be some proper Grand Designs this year. I watched a few episodes of the first series a few months ago, and I forgot just how haphazard the builds were with people trying out new building materials. Made it all the more exciting though

It's typical no telly for ages and then there are 2 programmes that i would like to watch tomorrow and we are out all evening at ED's school prizegiving ( she got the 2nd best GCSE grades in her year )

 

I am really looking forward to a new series of Spooks, it is my favourite tv series by far. I hadn't heard that it was coming back

 

I love Grand Designs too.

Big fan of Spooks, other than documentaries and rugby it's the only TV I watch live. Did anyone watch the Wellington Bomber programme last night, I thought it was very interesting.

I don't watch Spooks,never have done,but there is some great stuff scheduled for Autumn & Winter this year.

 

'Jamies American' thing has just started, & 'Hugh F-W' has a new show soon.

There is also a new 'Simple Suppers' coming up with the wonderful Nigel Slater, & a new Nigella too.

'The Inbetweeners' has just started,& it is brilliant, & I am also looking forward to 'An idiot abroad' where Karl Pilkington looks at the 7 wonders of the world.

The new series of 'Dexter' is really great, & there is 'Bones' soon too.

There is also new 'True Blood', 'Being Human' & 'House'

Has anyone been watching ' Bouqet of Barbed Wire'? Jemima Rooper is in that & I do wish they would do another series of 'Lost in Austen', which was great fun.

I love 'Grand Designs' too, & am looking forward to seeing it again.

Spooks lost it's way in the last series. I've watched it right from the start and I have to say it was dire in comparison to previous episodes. I hope it improves.

I didn't like the last series of Merlin, but we watched the first one of this new series on Monday and I quite liked it.
