Cinnamon
According to a friend, there is some sort of metal in the unlit cover which is causing the Kindle to freeze up. Tellingly, they no longer sell the unlit covers....... They did say that they haven't had too many problems with them, just enough to make them aware there was a problem,if that makes sense? Sheilaz
Perfect sense, thank you Cinnamon. I'm really missing mine now. Ironically, now would be the perfect time to be reading it, with LSH away. Oh, and I'm missing him too, not just the Kindle!
Seagazer
I got my Kindle today I love it. I haven't had much chance to read anything yet. YS has already managed to download a book for him to re-read (Boy in the striped pyjamas) and he is now apparently saving to buy his own one. I think I might have to find a hiding place for mine. I've got the red leather lighted case with it.
Blackrocksrock
Ours came into its own - we were down in england last week for a funeral - 26 hours in a car in a week is a bit much! - anyhow I found we could go on line and send email so saving my phone and people could know where we were and also kept up with my face book friends - it was fun actually! and passed the time!. Seagazer
Yes Claret, both me and YS have seen the film. As you say, harrowing and sad. YS said the book is better than the film so I will definitely read it.
