thenewchick
What does everyone do with their chooks on Bonfire night?
Christian
Lock them in the eglu and they are fine. I think some people bring their hens inside, but as Bonfire night/fireworks appear to go on for 2 weeks, you can't bring them in every night. Once asleep, they are pretty oblivious to what goes on outside.
Purplemaniacs
I do the same as any night, I shut the door on my and each night. I haven't had any problems so far on Bonfire Night. Chrissie
Guest
Just shut them away. They will be fine I would think if you had very very young birds you would bring them in but otherwise they are fine in their houses
JanTheDiver
Mine just stay in the cube, it doesn't bother them. The old moggie, on the other hand, cowers under the office desk until they have all finished
Lavenders_Blue
Yep, just shut them in the coop as usual. They seemed a-ok last year when I did this.
migsy
The old moggie, on the other hand, cowers under the office desk until they have all finished I used to have a cat that sat at the upstairs window every year watching the firework display at the community centre behind the house. She used to love them (at a distance!)
madchickenlady
I just shut them in the coop as soon as they go to roost. I do go out and check them again, though, before bed
