Can you make & deliver us 6 before midnight please? They are all truly fab! Love the ginger ones with the stars, but could also manage a Mars & after eight one. Mmmm you've got me drooling here.

Well done.

If you can point me in the right direction of those stars & some edible irridescent glitter for my xmas cakes it would be greatly appreciated.

Keep baking...don't forget midnight on the dot!:lol:

They are all very stylish, have they all got buttercream toppings or do you use anything else?

so far the choc one was different but generally so far different flavoured buttercream. fancy trying fondant but then you need a flat top to the cake.

Theres a topping called swiss meringue, an american recipe but it has shortening which i think is lard, may be wrong but i didnt fancy that!! Said to use Trex but haven't heard of that!!

Really yummy looking cupcakes. :D I think the coloured cases are lovely. I might have to buy some. :D

A lot of the cheap supermarket white muffin/cupcake cases seem to pull away from the cakes the following day as do the patterned ones (if they last that long) but i found the brown cases or the foil ones don't. Might just be something I'm doing :? Ebay do a whole range of different coloured foil cases at good prices :D

Gorgeous looking cakes

When I've made fairy cakes in the past (Are fairy cakes the same as cupcakes? ) they always seem to 'dome' up and rise. Not an issue for taste but a bit tricky if i wanted to decorate them using a level top. Is the mixture different? What is your secret BarbaraJ?

It just means your oven is too hot - turn it down a little and that will make a difference. :D
