Anyone else had any Sales bargains?

Recommended Posts

I had the opposite of a bargain  .

Had a few things in my Amazon basket since before Xmas as they weren't surprises and I thought they probably wouldn't arrive in time anyway.

Ordered them a few days ago and they've all arrived. I noticed today that the weather station I bought for myself has gone down to half the price I paid  .

On the plus side, I got YS a jacket in the sales reduced to £30 from £60 :D .

ANH, I'm sure Amazon will honour the lower price if you contact them. Sure I've seen it either on their website or MSE. BTW, which one was it as I'm after one.

I got three fleeces and a nice coat from the Regatta outlet. Cost me £50 in total.

They used to have a price promise, which I used regularly, but they stopped doing this earlier this year :?

We went to a sales outlet place near us yesterday as I needed some salopettes - got some half price, and a base layer as well for £10, hurrah :D The effect of this penny-pinching was slightly ruined by OH who fell for some good quality steak knives for £30, which I can't pretend we desperately need, but they are in a lovely box, all heavy and shiny and sharp, begging to be used

I got these from a local horsey/chicken feed supply place yesterday...really wanted them from Santa last year...but got the Joules pink chicken ones instead. Didn't expect to be replacing the Joules ones after a year but they have perished in more than one place and let water in

Paid £52.00 for them...cheapest online price £59.50 inc delivery...only popped to buy hen/kitten/puppy supplies and stumbled across their sale...even better Mr Snox treated me...a belated Christmas present 8)

We went to the sales...

Nursery Furniture - Saved £400

Baby assorted "Stuff" - Saved around another £100

Washing Machine - Saved £100

Carpet - got £520 worth of wool carpet for £50! Bargain of the day - was the perfect sized offcut!!

Pram thingy - saved £100

All things we needed, had been checking the prices of, and knew they were real discounts etc, and things we had to buy in one form or another.

Now all I have to do is sort out the house....

We too hit the sales.

Saved €800.00 on a large corner sofa.

€60.00 on a 10'x6' wool rug.

€20.00 on two bedside lamps.

Plus €40.00 off a brand new, genuine black M65 jacket, (been trying to get one for a while)

and two pairs of camouflage trousers for €18.00 handy for working in the garden.

Eileen bought some shoes, jeans and several tops. Don't know how much though she's being a little coy.:whistle:
