Seagazer
Keanu Reeves at the MCN Bike show at Excel in London. I did speak to him, I asked if I could have a photo taken with him and he said yes after he'd had his photo taken with another man. He did that and then walked off....tsk tsk. I stalked him for a bit (not really) and managed to get fairly decent photo of him. He's got a really, really deep voice.
Ain't Nobody Here
. Can't say I'd have recognised him though - he's obviously in disguise .
Seagazer
My SIL has just seen the photo that I posted on facebook and she said she wouldn't of recognised him. I must say I don't remember seeing him with a beard before in a film. There were lots of people around him taking photos. I did recognise him though. Reikiranf
I'd have spent the day thinking he looked familliar and wondering where I knew him from Years ago I was at Kenwood house with my great Aunt and we sat chatting to a lady and her son for ages, I think it was years later when I realised we'd been talking to Glenda Jackson
Seagazer
Cinnamon - from the photos I've seen of Ulrika she is way too thin at the moment. I think I read somewhere that she's suffering with bad back pain. Reiki I think I prefer Keanu My son was working at Shepperton the other day and Rachel Weiz walked past him and smiled at him. He's now officially in love and she has surpassed his infatuation with Cheryl Cole I was laughing with a chap next to me because Keanu kept moving every time I tried to take a photo, the other chap thought he was a right scruffy (you fill in the rest). I thought he looked very and relaxed. JillM the motorbikes were fantastic too. I even tried one, the do a Get On section so I rode a little Yamaha 125. Managed to stay on and get my feet up so not bad at all. There was also a show where they had some famous riders doing an obstacle course on bikes. Randy Mamola and John McGuiness were just two I can remember. They also had some young lads doing stunts on bikes, 70 foot back flips made my hands go all sweaty watching them but they were fantastic. Even YS enjoyed himself. LisaP
Keanu Reeves and motorbikes..... I wish I'd been there! Just about sums it up really, my thoughts too Well done Seagazer for having a go. DD has got a Yamaha 125 at the moment, lovely little bike. Are you thinking of getting a bike yourself Lisa P
Seagazer
Lisa, I've gone all Mavis Riley about it, I don't really know!! One small part of me thinks, ooh exciting. The other bigger part just thinks I'll be a danger to myself and probably everyone else on the road I suppose the next thing to do would be to follow it up, the instructors said that I could book in at a local center and get one hour free tuition. I guess by the end of that I would probably know if I wanted to take it further. OH is quite keen for me to do it if I want although he's quite happy for me to stay on the back if thats what I want. OH was talking of the different bikes he would like for different journeys and then mentioned a space for my possible bike we shall see. LisaP
Seagazer you are not alone, I feel just the same A few years ago I had a Honda CG125 (birthday present from OH) and I did my CBT and theory and had some lessons but totally lost my nerve when on the road on my own. During the lessons I could ride a 500cc bike on the road because I was accompanied by an instructor and felt much more in control but on my own I was limited to my little Honda and I just felt so vulnerable, I seemed to become completely invisible to car drivers I still 'um and ah' about it now because I'm surrounded by bikes here but I just don't know OH has got a BMW R1200GS, Kawasaki ZX9R, Aprilia SL1000 (currently off the road) and a Bimota Vdue (his pride and joy but also currently off the road ) ES has a Kawasaki ER5 and DD has her Yamaha YBR125. ES did start off with my little Honda but just after passing his test in 2009 he got T-boned by a car and it got written off For me, for the time being I'm happy to just ride pillion with OH, I have total confidence in him on the bike but in the car, now that's another story............ Good luck with whatever you decide to do Lisa P
Seagazer
Wow Lisa you are surrounded by lots of bikes! OH has a Honda VFR 1200F and loves it. Its only his second bike. We don't have a garage so can't have any more bikes really. I know what you mean about trusting them on the bike (OH has just got in from his ROSPA training morning) but he's a bit different in the car He obviously thinks he's perfect. Well perhaps we'll both stick to being pillions then! We're off to the Ardennes for a long weekend with the ROSPA lot and to the Isle of Man this year on our own. Hubby does marshalling there but it will be my first time.

Seagazer
Oh dear, poor man. If only he could read what's being said about him! My SIL's SIL (does that make sense?) has just commented on facebook that he looks like he should be selling the big issue. I quite liked the way he looked, he certainly stood out. darkwoodali
PHWOOOOAAARRR - Keanu is on my 'Free pass' list...he is totally gorgeous!I have a real weakness for part oriental men I am very, very jealous indeed! I saw Ulrika Johnsson today,in the shop, looking haggard & too thin Oh come on Cinnamon, surely you've also seen Liam Gallagher and - more importantly - Orlando Bloom around in town! I've seen Orlando twice in Robert Dyas of all places - refreshing to know even celebs have to do the most mundane shopping! The OH has also seen George Cole (Minder) and Jeremy Paxman in town and was surprised I didn't get too excited about that!
Cinnamon
Ahem, I served the divine Orlando at work on my first saturday there (he loves Blueberries), & yes have seen Liam Gallagher (he lives next door to my daughters friend) I once crashed into George Cole (on foot, not in my car), & he was very gentlemanly & picked me up again. I am sure I have bored may Omleteers about who I have spotted around Henley, over & over. But Keanu...that really would make me go weak at the knees! .............and i am totally into his look at the moment

I've seen better looking men I must say doesnt light my fire - must be getting old and cynical me thinks To be honest I wasn't bothered that he didn't have a photo with me (well only a little bit ) because I do think that they are just trying to get on with their lives etc. I've never gone up to anyone famous like that before, if we've ever seen anyone we've just taken snaps as they pass sort of thing but I just couldn't stop myself with him. I have some small clips of video of him looking and trying out the bikes. I'm a happy girl.
