Rhapsody
Modelling the eglu...... She's been so good, been handled and had a wing clipped my younger son loves her colours and has been singing Bo Rhap all afternoon! The colour combo in the eglu is a bit eye-watering though

Rhapsody
So far so good- have let her out to free-range with the others and they all give her the odd peck but nothing terrible, I know the challenge will be getting her into the eglu I'm going to carry on with free-range and separation at bedtime for a while. On a separate note, how quickly did I forget what devils youngsters are to catch!! I've got so used to my ladies following me around and crouching when I go to pick them up, last night was like a ropin' scene from Bonanza! Thank you so much for all the good wishes, no more room in the eglu now so I'll have to behave.....
Egluntyne
last night was like a ropin' scene from Bonanza! You are a hoot Rhapsody! Have you got an anglers landing net.....they are quite useful for catching escapees. You just have to hope the neighbours aren't watching! Rhapsody
Wow I've never been at the cutting edge before- but I thought Daisybelles were blacker with white markings...? but what do I know? Thanks for the pics chickster, its nice to know Bizmillah isnt alone! She is now in the eglu and they are giving her the odd peck but nothing terrible, she makes a mad dash for food and water, if I can get them out to free-range in this horrible weather all is fine, its just in the eglu run where she has to run the gauntlet. She is already stooping (!) and growing fluffy pants, and is a very chatty hen. More pics soon Rhapsody x
