Mrs Frugal
A few more photos to show how it all works The bolt release for the back. There is one on either side then the roof slides back The back removed and the top slid back for cleaning The inside showing the bolt release for the back to just lift off. One on either side again - really easy as they slide very smoothly The wheel mechanism moved so that the wheels are now down The Cube with the wheels in position for moving around - one lever on each end to operate each wheel The lever is operated with your foot - ta da, I even have matching shoes, you see and finally the interior through the pop hole door. Plenty of ventilation so if you have gaps, don't worry. I asked Johannes and they are deliberate!
BeckyBoo
Oh WOW!!! Girls, they look FAB! Particularly the purple one (which is what I'm getting). And it looks HUGE compared to the pictures on the home page, I can't wait til June when mine (no, must remind myself, it's hubbys!) and 5 chooks comes. Mrs Frugal
I thought I'd try and take photos of everything to show how it works as so many people have asked questions. Might be worth making this thread into a sticky?
Mrs Frugal
Lesley, it's bigger than I'd expected . However, the summer house is going in a couple of months thanks to rot so we're extending the girls run to where it is and the Cube will be fine in there. It won't be moved around the garden as we don't have room - as you can see !
buffie
Brilliant Kate, matching crocs too shall I sticky it when everyone has looked today, I've taken a selection of new cubies comments and pics so we can get their view and first thoughts for the informative sticky. The Dogmother
It looks even bigger in real life than I imagined Kate. Looks like they've thought of everything though. It will be interesting to hear from the new cube owners again in a month when they've had it apart, cleaned it and everything; see what they think then. Mrs Frugal
I'll stickify it then so it can be a resource for anyone wanting to know how it works and what we all think of it. Sorted!!

Gallina
I spoke too soon -- my delivery time has been changed to 11am tomorrow, as someone else has been promised first delivery. They know how to keep the suspense up, don't they? Edit: I've just had another call: it's going to be 9am after all! The cube looks much too nice for chickens.
