I love the old comedy series like Only Fools and Horses, Dad's Army, One Foot in the Grave, Jeeves and Wooster. They're funny and clean, which is a rarity nowadays, good old fashioned family viewing. Oh and Count Arthur Strong on the radio (not sure if it's still on?).

I think most stand up comedians should be banned under the trades description act, I can't remember the last time one of them made me laugh. Although I do quite like Bill Bailey actually, he's a bit different from most comedians.

My family also make me laugh, my Mum comes out with the most bizarre things which make me roar with laughter and hubby has a bad habit of making me laugh at inappropriate moments, in fact only this morning he gave me the giggles at a funeral by saying something hilariously inappropriate. I did a bad job of trying to castigate him whilst muffling my laughter.

My family

My friends - I have friends I speak to every day, usually online now and they always make me laugh :D

My pets

Lots of TV things I find amusing, but 2 comedians who always make me laugh like a lunatic are Tim Vine and Milton Jones. They just have a silly sense of humour and I have a silly sense of humour.

I love that female comic,Sarah something, northern, glasses ....very funny.

Just noticed how man heavy my laugh list is.

Seems I prefer male comics as well as male vocalists.

Sarah Millican? yeah she's great.

I like Shappi Khorsandi and Jo Brand - did anyone see that programme 'Getting on' about being a nurse in a geriatric ward? I thought that was brilliant.

Sarah Millican and Shappi Khorshandi both fab. tho I got Shappi's book for a present (her life story as a small child) and was a little bit disappointed - some marvellous moments but didnt add up as a book for me.

I also married a man for laughs, not money... shame really, my mother always told me it was as easy to love a rich man as a poor man :lol:
