I work with a bunch of people who regularly laugh out loud, I work on the reception desk of my OH's small law firm, so often have to answer the phone very professionaly only moments after laughing at something very inappropriate My OH and children make me laugh a lot too as do my pets. I love people watching too. comedy favourites Colin's Sandwich from years ago, with Mel Smith Gavin and Stacey, hilarious and heart warming in equal measure. Outnumbered Russell Howard, but not when he is too crude. Bill Bailey Jo Brand Mock The Week Dawn French and Lenny Henry shame they are not together anymore. any good standup especially if it very topical. I don't find anything amusing in co"Ooops, word censored!"ness for co"Ooops, word censored!"ness' sake, nor in laughing at others' misfortune, nor in bigotry. Almost anything else is fair game. I sometimes wonder why OH and I are together as we don't share the same sense of humour at all. The kids and I can be in stitches at (eg) Mock the Week; Would I lie to you; Michael McIntyre; Monty Python; Little Britain.... and he will be quietly in the corner looking slightly perplexed at what we find so funny. I took him to see Victoria Wood years ago. He thought she was ok and , to be fair, her humour probably worked best for women. I went to see Grumpy Old Women on stage and that was also extremely funny. I have a scottish colleague at work who regularly has me giggling inappropriately. My kids can be hilarious as well. My favourite is to shout to OH "fancy a bit of crumpet" when toasting crumpets - gets him haring into kitchen oh little things.......... beach chick Posted July 10, 2011 Author Share Posted July 10, 2011 mr bc and I went to see Billy Connolly donkeys years ago... we'd had the tickets for ages, but he had trodden on a nail on the actual day and it was very very sore... anyway, we got there despite the fact he could hardly walk, and we laughed, with tears down our faces for about 3 hours (sore foot forgotten). at the end, BC did a routine about how, despite his vvvvv frequent use of a particular rude word, on the way home we must NOT say said word to taxi drivers. so we stood there, mr bc on one leg, me propping him up, saying the very same word every time a black cab with its light on drove past and ignored us Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
