chelsea Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 I wasn't sure about the Charleston although hubby loved it but I think that Artem is such a fantastic dancer and choreographer, his dances are always worth watching. Well I agree with Mr Seagazer cos I thought it was fab too I watched it again on youtube as the concept, choreography and music were perfect. Holly just wasn't as crisp on the dance as Artem was which just let her down. I also loved their jive (when he had the back injury). sadietoo Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Well, what can I say? Hubby and I thought that we must have watched a different show to the judges. How could they give Jason and Chelsee 40 each when it was Kristina doing all the dancing in Jason's tango and Chelsee looked as if she stumbled a couple of times and as if she didn't quite know what she was doing. I didn't think it had as much power as Holly's previous paso. Really odd. Perhaps I'll have to watch them again. I was also stunned that Craig didn't give Harry a 10 for his beautiful Viennese Waltz, it brought tears to my eyes. I'd have loved to have seen Holly in the final, I wasn't sure about the Charleston although hubby loved it but I think that Artem is such a fantastic dancer and choreographer, his dances are always worth watching. I also agree about the Military Wives, I hated the whooping and clapping during the song, totally wrong and disrespectful to the wives. I don't mind the dancing but the audience should have been quiet. I'm glad Alex went, she had improved but was nowhere near the standard of the other contestants. I agree with all your comments...and it 's worth pointing out I feel that because of the choice of music very often Harry and Aliona were dancing without any music at all.... Personally I dislike show dances which seems to be far more circus than ballroom Can I also say that it seems to me that when you've had your top half artificially enhanced as one finalist has, it's likely to make the shapes you make far more dramatic..... . Jason does very little - what he does is in time and well done but the whole drama is down to Kristina. I don't think that Jason's part was a patch on Mark Ramprakash (will have to watch that one again to compare) Kristina desaerved four 10's, Jason deserved 8's or 9's Harry to win - please don't let him down on the choreography of the show dance Aliona! I thought Jason's show dance was the better of the 3. Loved Chelsee's quickstep. Pasha is a fab choreographer. I'm just not keen on Aliona, she seems to make the dances more about her. Artem will always be my favourite. Roll on next year Time for Brucie to go though - his shouting at the McFly crew was most off putting.....
