Luvachicken
I'm glad someone has seen some sunshine. Just grey and more grey here. But I did hear the Robin and a Blackbird singing when I went to shut my girls in.............Spring IS coming

The Dogmother
Sunday was mild but quite foggy, met some friends for a lurcher walk on Berrow Beach near Weston super Mare, nice day but would have been better with sunshine. Dark, dreary and damp this morning.

Groovychook
We had one lovely sunny day over the weekend but it's mainly been dull with the odd bit of drizzle. There were patches of blue sky this morning but it's clouded over now. Feels cooler too.

Saronne
Still dull and mild in Leicestershire. Does anyone know if we're due any snow in the foreseeable future?
The Dogmother
A neighbour told me t'other day that we're due snow at the end of January, as we've not had any yet, it's as good a bet as any.
chickencam
The Countryfile weather forecast was hinting at snow by the end of next week, and much colder weather by the end of this week.
The Dogmother
The paper this morning is predicting a cold snap towards the end of the week, having said that, it's 11deg here now.

Groovychook
11 degrees, grey and drizzly. Fed up of this repetitive weather- I'm looking forward to a change of season, be it winter or spring!
The Dogmother
The chill has started.... the temp dropped 3deg in an hour this morning, but it's lovely and sunny
Groovychook
It's murky again here. Quite misty first thing and although it's not raining, it feels like it is as there's still a lot of moisture in the air. Cooler today at 8 degrees.

chickencam
We took ED back to uni this evening and the fog on the M5 was awful especially for about 5 miles on the way back when I was driving We were both peering into the gloom hoping that we were in the right lane and we weren't going to hit anything, pretty scary It is below freezing too, the temperature dropped very suddenly after dark. The Dogmother
We had freezing fog as well Liz, it was thick enough when I left work, but when I went to collect Rosie from lifeguard training, the fog had frozen on the windscreen and visibility was very poor, even in the town centre. Warmer this morning at 1.2deg when I got up, it's now 3.3deg but grey and dismal. I see in the papers that we're due for a very cold snap starting on Sunday and lasting for 3 weeks. Groovychook
We have a bit of weak sunshine amongst the mist this morning and it's colder at 4 deg. Another band of rain is due during today- just started drizzling actually, but colder stuff forecast to follow.
chickencam
The fog was thick at home when I went to bed last night, but it had cleared by this morning and the temperature had risen to 3 degrees. It is dull and grey this morning.
lillybettybabs
I have bought a massive piece of sheeting from tarpaflex to cover the kennel front and chicken run in preparation for the cold snap.Dylan and Dawn were playing tunnel mazes in it and sit on the spangle as i was unfolding and cutting. It was the size of my garden but it was in the sale (have lots left) but hopefully no snow drifts if it arrives!
