Hardly a cloud in the sky Pity it was so cloudt last night as there was what would have been an amazing aurora borealis going on right outside our back door. It's already 18deg in the shade, bright and sunny and not too much dew, so the lads are already out in the fields... if this weather continues then we'll have the whole harvest in by Saturday night. They have been working round the clock - combining by searchlight, stopping when the dew starts to fall, then picking up again as soon as it's gone in the morning.
