PS I am not ageing well either and he is the same age as me so I don't mind!!!

 

PPS He interviewed me once, about 20 years ago,for a regional news program...I was dressed in Civil War clothing and he was all got up as a Pikeman; oh happy days!!!!

YD had a great time at our Christmas light switch on at the weekend, we had a local band called The Chip Shop Boys playing and a real party atmosphere, despite it being cold and damp. OH went to pick her up at 7pm and he was watching her for a while before she realised he was there and he said she looked as if she was having the time of her life.

Well we've just been to our local turn on in Ely. I did know beforehand that the guests were the loveable rogues but didn't want to post before in case I caused a stampede and created safety issues

Was it good? I avoided going as both kids were very tired and it would have been a recipe for disaster! I went into town yesterday and saw the lights going up.

It was good but freezing and very very crowded. Had the best hog roast ive had in a long time.

 

We had melt down from a tired 8 year old so I have every sympathy.
