I've just Googled our local town but can't find any info, so I guess we're too unimportant to get a Z-lister to switch on our Christmas lights

The nearest city to us is Peterborough where apparently Chico will be switching on the Christmas lights!

Hmmmmmm sounds like a bit of a cop out! Maybe they forgot to book someone and are frantically ringing round! Perhaps Stavros Flatley could hot foot it over there after his other gig! Either that or its someone with a bag on their head! DO let us know!

I thought we may have had Jahmene from the X factor, seeing as he is from Swindon, but I expect Keith had been booked early as he's at the panto for the second year running!

 

Robbie Williams turned on Oxford Street. Doesn't Nicholas Cage live in Glastonbury now? He's been rumoured to switch on local lights all the time! he is cool though!!! One of my weirder celeb crushes!

Nothing weird about a crush on Nicholas Cage, I loved him in the National Treasure films and so did my ED who was only about 16 at the time.

 

We rarely get anyone famous, especially over recent years because we had a few injuries when we had a boy band about 10 years ago, i can't even remember who they were but it caused a lot of controversy.

Just had a look at my local towns, and it seems that there is a chap called Santa Claus switching on the lights in most places, he is going to be busy The Fabulous Baker Brothers Tom and Henry are doing Cirencester's lights though.

Honestly,I live in celeb ville - you would have thought they could come up with someone a bit more exciting!
