AlisonH
I think my chooks have got themselves some night vision goggles! During the last week they have given up going in at dusk when FR in the garden and are still scrabbling around after dark!! They go in after a while but it's definately black out there! Anyone else found this?
mimi5
Hi.....have you checked the coop for redmite??? As when my youngsters were doing this and flying up for cuddles, I thought how sweet........until I realised there was redmite in the coop and they just didn't want to go in there! Might be worth a check?? Hope I'm wrong!
chuckmum6
I would agree, the natural instinct is to roost before dusk, mine start going to bed at 3:30pm, well they do need their beauty sleep - especially those with only a few feathers attached! The Dogmother
That's odd as they have very poor night sight, best check for red mites.
