I realised at around 16 years old ( I had an epiphany ) that worrying over what has happened and what might have been is pointless. Make amends if needed but you just have to move on and deal with life as it happens. My daughter is renting a flat with a work friend, who decided they needed to phone the estate agent to get the landlord to fix the shower.
