Cinnamon
I have a new kitten It has taken me a while, having lost my last cat over a year ago,but I have taken the plunge & we brought home our new boy,a Maine Coon cross, this afternoon. libby22
What a beautiful face! And what a brilliant name - both of them orange with stripes Very jealous
bluekarin
He is lovely. Reminds me of my Oliver when he was little. He wasn't a Maine Coon, though his 'uncle' was one. He was massive and the gentlest giant ever.
mollyripkim
He is beautiful, have a bit of a soft spot for ginger cats, name is great too. I am currently trying to type with my kitten who is now 14 weeks old asleep in front of the keyboard.

Cinnamon
Thanks. We are delighted with him. We actually went to get a girl, but this little one just spoke to me....I believe that the animal chooses the person as much as the other way around. His Dad is a massive big Maine Coon,so I am hoping he will end up a big cat too...he certainly has some ears to grow in to!
chicken bark
I'm very jealous

freddie
He is just the most beautiful thing, so perfect. I love my cats dearly, except when one throws up on the table, like this afternoon
Seagazer
He is gorgeous Sarah, I did wonder if he was a Maine Coon. He looks at home on your leg.
Cinnamon
Yes,he likes my jeans & runs up & down them. He tried it on my bare leg earlier too though We might just be looking out for a little companion for him also........................... dancing cloud
He is just so cuddlesome! Great name too I agree the animal chooses their person. I went to the shelter to meet a particular cat, who just didn't want to know me, and came home with Loki, who still looks at me like I'm the centre of his universe (and then goes to cuddle up on my dad's knee, the little furry traitor )
LottyJ1
He is lovely and ginger cats are always so great
Seagazer
He is lovely and ginger cats are always so great I agree with that statement - our lovely ginger boy is so inquisitive and a great big cuddly lump. So Cinnamon, another kittie I hear you say? Are you looking for another maine coon?
Cinnamon
No,can't afford another one,so a mog is what we are looking for. Just thought it would be nice to have 2 young ones together
Seagazer
I have to say having got two together the last time (brother & sister), I would definitely do it that way again. We got 2 because we thought they would feel better having one another against a great big dog. They love the dog anyway, thank goodness. Before we'd always had a year or so between cats and it was hit and miss as to whether they would get on or not. If you have two at roughly the same age they will probably play together more and bond hopefully. Good luck with your search, hope you find one. rachel19
Perhaps the stray kitty in the other thread????? That would make a nice omlet story
The Dogmother
That's a brilliant idea! Why not get in touch with L_B Sarah?
freddie
I thought they only came in pairs...that's what I told OH, anyway... We've got 3 at the mo, but that's another tale...
Lavenders_Blue
I was just reading this thinking you might like to have my little chappie! If the friend-of-a-friend who is interested decides not to take him, you'd be very welcome Cinnamon, however you might not want to come all the way to Rutland for a kitty (although he's pretty darned cute!). The Dogmother
We could do a kitten train! You could bring him to me, then I could take him to Sarah: am roughly half way!
Cinnamon
Lovely idea, but I would really like a little girl.
