Ain't Nobody Here
Aww, how cute . Almost looks like fur rather than feathers .
SAB
A local farmer recently lost his lease and had to rehome his animals, I took on some of his chickens, including 2 silkies - they are not exactly the same as the one pictured (sorry, I need to get some photos) but are very very lovely - definitely look and feel more furry than feathery! Both terribly broody at the moment though!
Purplemaniacs
I have 4 mini silkies, Tumble is white and tiny, he hatched Easter last year on day 17, I don't think he had developed fully as he is nothing like the cockeral I hatched last August a handsome black silkie, well I think so but I am no expert, along with one black and one white lady who keep him company. They are lovely I would love to hatch some more. Chrissie

Egghead68
My ex-landlady had silkies. They are adorable birds but go broody a lot! I read somewhere that when they were introduced to the U.K. they were sold as half chicken half rabbit!!
