Omlet Hamster Cage For Sale Best Offer

[moochoo]

Well I don't know what it is. I came downstairs this morning all bleery eyed looked into my garden and discovered this!

It was all cream until I poked it with a branch

I've never seen anything like it before. Is is fungal, vomit or ectoplasm?!

Has anyone else seen anything like this before and if so do they know what it is?

[Lesley]

I've no idea what that is - how weird!

Did it feel fungal? or squidgey?

[Ladylucan]

Yuk, looks disgusting, and i havent got a clue, but i am sure someone will give you an idea of what it could be, looks a little like soggy bread in some way,

think i will wait abit for brekkies today,

I shall keep watching this post xx

[Laura & CTB]

Fortunately I dont eat breakfast anyway but am now horribly fascinated as to what on earth that is

[Lesley]

After a day spent with a 'poorly' dog yesterday, I can cope with this!

Perhaps Jazz found something similar yesterday morning? - and ate it

[chocchick]

The fluffy stuff looks like fungus. Maybe it's fungus on animal sick?

[Guest]

The inside definately looks like something the Tigger would sick up after a heavy night in the garden - choccy is probably right - animal sick that's covered in some kind of fungi.

[Egluntyne]

I thought it was a pate sandwich!

Makes me glad I'm a veggie!

[Laura & CTB]

Gross Egluntine. ...........

[Ladylucan]

Yeah, but you gotta admit, re looking at the piccy, it does look like a pate sandwich........

[Chickpea]

Yeah I'd say it looks like cat sick!

[moochoo]

I think it's a fungus of some sort. When I broke the 'skin' of it it was cream inside not that orangy colour at all. By the time I'd got my camera it had changed colour, like it had oxidised! Once I'd broken it, it deflated to about one fifth of it's original size.

There was definitely nothing there last night.

Really wierd!!!

[The Dogmother]

Sounds fungal to me Sarah... how odd though

[Couperwife]

I really dont know what it could be - but EUGH

[theherd123]

"Who ya gonna call?"

GHOST BUSTERS!!

[chickenlass]

I wonder if it is one of those "puff ball" fungus? Did a sort of powdery flour come out of it when you touched it?

I'm intriguied to know hat it might be.

[starboyhull]

It does look like something an animal has brought back up, looks horrible whatever it is.......

[Kathy C]

Is is fungal, vomit or ectoplasm?!

*she thinks* *realisation comes*

I think it's ectoplasm. The ghouls and ghosts where on their Summer outing. Like many of the living they left behind their waste.

[chickenlass]

EEEEKKKKKK!

[moochoo]

I thought it might be a puff ball but it doesn't look anything like the photos in my mushroom book

I shall re-examine the evidence when I get home tonight - hopefully the cats haven't eaten it

Maybe I'll never know....if it is a fungus then maybe i'll get more. If so I'll not disturb it and see how big it grows.

I will keep you all posted tonight! Thanks for your replies.

[Egluntyne]

Puffballs aren't like that in the middle. They are like the white bit of mushrooms all the way through.

[chrisnrob]

I think it might be "Dog Vomit Fungus"!!
