Space Chick Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 In the last few weeks I have met a number of guide dogs (I'm doing some work with the sensory loss community and also went to a Paracycling event with tandem riders). Each of the blind ladies I met have confirmed what an incredible difference their dogs make to them, and the interactions between them and the dogs has been a pleasure to see. Chickabee Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share Posted December 21, 2014 Becket has been a guide dog since August now. He is owned by a young girl, who absolutely adores him. They go to school together and he lays under her desk and snores. I am very fortunate that they have contacted me. It's lovely to hear how he's doing. The family also have as pet dog. I'm hoping to meet them sometime in February. Storm is going into training in January, so I may have puppy number 4 by then.
