Ladylucan
Fred, feel free to add the ones that do contain eggs if you have the time please, obviously you may have to ask the person who submitted them for their permission . Thanks xxxx

redfrock
I haven't forgotten about the egg and lemon soup. My parents are away at the moment and I really do want to use the family recipe rather than the printed one!

Geoid
I've had an idea , I want to make a easy to use website, that contains all the recipes on here, including the ones that dont contain egg, and I was wondering, is it ok with you lot if I put the recipes on the site? (you will get full credit)
The Dogmother
Best check it with james@omlet.co.uk too Fred before you go ahead.
Tina C
I think the cookbook is a great idea but its on the wiki isn't it? To be honest I personally don't have time to keep up with the forum let alone go into something else (I have looked at the wiki but don't actually like it very much) That may be why the recipes aren't going on there? - do many people actually bother with the wiki? The Dogmother
They don't Tina, that's where fred's idea came from I think. The wiki had a spam problem too, which deterred people. I hate the thing too and think that either Fred's idea of a site, or a thread (with not chat) in the All Things Nice forum would be great. The latter is probably better as it's part of the main forum and easy for us to administer.
Geoid
that's where fred's idea came from I think You are right, I hate the wiki too, soo hard to use. Must eMail James now
Tina C
Phew! I thought it was just me being a web-o-phobe or something.
The Dogmother
Nope, you're OK Tina! I think it's part of a bundle that James got when he got the latest forum software, or something like that - it doesn't work too well and won't let me post at all ... thank goodness for that! James sorted out the spam problem but it's still not right.
Geoid
I've made a start on the site (not the recipes or anything like that, as James hasn't given the go-ahead yet) But I have made a contact form Here. Have a look at it, and tell me what you think.
The Dogmother
Looks good Fred, the only comment I have is that Omleteers might not be happy submitting their real names - that's why they have forum pseudonyms.
Geoid
Omleteers might not be happy submitting their real names - that's why they have forum pseudonyms. Ok, have changed it now, thanks
Geoid
Emailed James, and he said I don't think it is a good idea to starthosting it on another type of site. I think that a wiki is a good because it allows anyone to edit the content and the cookbook is essentially a community project. If you start hosting the content on a different website then the content will essentially become locked.
