Poor little Jill, I hope she finds a lovely new home she deserves and rip the poor little one who didn't survive. No excuse for that whatsoever and I would worry about the individual in question. Am so pleased she was rescued though, and just in the nick of time. They are in every country all over the world doing awful things to all sorts of animals. Sadly too many get away with it. I do hope the little one is adopted by a loving family.
