Egluntyne
My daughter came home for the weekend, and I noticed that she had taken to wearing my Mary Janes. You know the rest.....she said they would look great with trousers, and that she would be able to wear them to work, and as they were sooooooocomfy etc. I'll have to get another pair now. Damn. Couperwife
I would never steal my mums shoes. her feet are 2 sizes smaller than mine (much to her horror - she really wants to borrow mine )

ubereglu
Louise, is that after your mother said she'd never be caught wearing them, until she decided they were comfy when she broke her leg??? I too, thought something more serious than that had happened!
The Dogmother
Rosie (at 9 years old) is nearly the same size as me... she already borrows my wellies and gardening flip flops; the crocs will be next, although she has more pairs than me Rosie also wears all my t shirts!!! I too, thought something more serious than that had happened! She has had a stroke Liz and my pink ones are the only hting we can get her dodgy foot into at the moment as it has a tendancy to swell a little She hates them and pulls a face every time you put them on her
The Dogmother
I meant to ask when I called you Louise - how is you mum getting on? It can't be easy having them staying.

The Dogmother
I nearly 'lost' my purple mary janes last night.. Rosie came home from camp with the front strap on hers broken where someone had stood on her foot she was devastated and was wandering around in mine (which are a bit big on her) while I fixed hers with some superglue... close shave! *PHEW*
Egluntyne
Did you manage to fix it OK?
The Dogmother
Yes, I was surprised, it fixed like a dream. The strap is stretched a bit, but it'll last a while longer. I was getting worried that I'd never see my mary janes again
